The CST/Berger TLM100 Laser Distance Measurer is truly a “laser” measurer, very unlike the sonic measurers, which use sonic waves to measure. This small device uses a clear laser beam and will measure exactly whatever you’re pointing it at. It is a lot more accurate than these sonic measurement devices which is why I choose to review laser devices instead.
This is pretty much the only real rival to the Bosch DLR165K Laser Distance Measuring Device, but I don’t think it quite reaches Bosch level of engineering. It is still a very well designed laser measurer though.

Conclusion:
In a nutshell, I think this is a very nice laser measurement device which will save you a lot of effort taking measurements by hand. Literally one push of the button will be enough from now on. The laser beam could have been a bit stronger though, which is why I don’t rate it quite as good as the Bosch DLR165K.

The new version of the Bosch DLR165K Laser Distance Measurer Device, on which I wrote a review earlier, is there and I reviewed it! It has got some nice little improvements, read everything about it here.
Like the DLR165K, the Bosch DLR130K digital laser measurement device is very handy and small, yet extremely durable. You can really use both of these devices in every weather! With only 4 inches tall it is smaller than a 25 feet tape measurer and you can do a lot more with it, really.
The laser beam is very clear and bright, helping you to aim at any object and measure distance, area and even volume. The ergonomic, rubberized grip makes it very comfortable and convenient to use.
